Jil Sander unveils an innovative retail concept for its new flagship store located at 134 Bond Street, London.

Designed to create an intimate journey into the Jil Sander world and infused with Lucie and Luke Meier’s sensitivity and attention to detail, this is the brand’s first store conceived in partnership with the globally-renowned firm Casper Mueller Kneer.

It echoes the Meiers’ work on the coalescence of ideas, and their commitment to build durable environments, designed to wear and age well over time, integrating natural and re-used materials. The space features monochrome blocks of marble, brass elements and timber pieces while furniture elements are formed of recycled plastic from compact disc cases. The soft natural lighting, studied to illuminate the environment as an artist’s studio, creates an intimate setting.
